Welcome to Dún Ard  B&B which was featured on the RTE TV program, SHOWHOUSE. Each room throughout our house was elegantly designed by local designer, Nina Kati, using the finest of materials. We have continued to add our own personal touches to make our guests feel at home in the luxurious surroundings.

Dún Ard is built on three levels with plenty of light and space. All four bedrooms are en-suite, two with luxurious Jacuzzi baths. The ground floor bedroom boasts a double Jacuzzi bath and has it’s own private sauna in which to unwind after a long and stressful day.

Glass panelled on one side, the guest sunroom opens onto a large balcony where guests can sit and relax, enjoying the panoramic views of the magnificent seascape and mountains in the backdrop.

The elegant dining room has a large dining table where guests can meet and exchange details of their experiences.

Our modern property is in the picturesque Gaeltacht area of Ring less than 10km from the county town of Dungarvan.

Dún Ard is located on the Cork side of Dungarvan. Turn off N25 onto R674, signposted An Rinn & Heilbhic. After 3km, veer left at fork in road, still An Rinn & Heilbhic. After another 3km, you will see a pub on right. Turn left into estate, 100 metres past pub. Dún Ard is the second last house on the left. Our Eircode, X35 WA00 can be used in Google Maps.

We recently stayed in the Dun Ard for four nights and could not have asked for a more comfortable and pleasant base in the Rinn Gaeltacht. From the moment we arrive, Joe was on hand to help and advise on where to go, where to eat and much more. Our room (Oyster) was super comfortable with every amenity you could wish for and a wonderful view to boot. Excellent breakfast every morning with beautfully served fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, juice followed by a choice of cooked breakfast, all freshly cooked, tea/coffee, toast and brown bread. We could not fault this guest house. Highly recommended.

Really good visit to a quality venue with excellent welcome and service. The house is furnished with quality modern furniture and facilities and many additional touches, such as a mini fridge - of assistance on a very hot summer evening/night. No panoramic views from our room, but I think there are from others. Lovely breakfast cooked/provided according to choice and the offer of up to date local knowledge over dining/refreshment and activities. Best B & B on our trip to date - thank you.

Beautiful luxurious B & B. The breakfast was the best cooked that I have had, lovely homemade bread and beautiful cutlery and crockery. Felt like we were in a 5* hotel. Very helpful host giving us helpful local information and ordered a taxi for us. Luxurious bedroom, very comfortable bed and large bathroom with a rain shower and jacuzzi bath. Very quiet location.
